C P International (CPI) is a part of a family owned group which was founded in 1986 to provide services and products for the cathodic protection of steel in concrete. It has remained with this principal focus but has also broadened its expertise by undertaking projects in several allied technologies and is a market and technology leader in these categories. CPI is a fully owned subsidiary of Grønvold & Karnov which manufactures components distributed by CPI.

The company has its headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company was originally founded to produce the durAnode internal anode system which is still, albeit in a modernised form, in production today. Since this time the company has developed its product range so that it is also designing and manufacturing computer controlled power supply systems and other products which allow it to act as a single source supplier. It also has a leading role in the development and production of corrosion monitoring systems for reinforced concrete.

The company has CAD facilities and has the capability to design complete cathodic protection systems, manufacture, supervise installation and thereafter maintain it. The companies run a quality assurance system. All the products being sold are in conformance with the latest European Community Regulations including the latest EMI laws.

The products sold by CPI are now being used in more than 28 countries around the world. CPI has joint venture or wholly owned offices in Tokyo – Japan, Colchester –England and Damman –Saudi Arabia. The group employ professionally qualified corrosion, electronics hardware, electronics software, chemical engineering and metallurgists as some of their personnel.
